Commercial Music Production & Beatmaking

Overview: A 15-week intensive course in modern DAW software, synth architecture, beatmaking, and vocal production for pop, hip-hop, film, and digital media.

15-Week Curriculum:

• Weeks 1–3 (DAW & Rhythm Foundations): DAW interface setup, MIDI sequencing, drum machine programming, and groove quantization.

• Weeks 4–7 (Harmony, Bass & Synthesis): Chord progressions, bassline design, sound synthesis (subtractive/FM), and sampling mechanics.

• Weeks 8–11 (Arrangement & Vocal Tracking): Song structuring, tension/release, vocal tuning/editing, and virtual instrument orchestration.

• Weeks 12–14 (Mixing & Master Bus Polish): EQ carving, dynamic compression, spatial reverb/delay, and mastering loudness standards.

• Week 15 (Final Review): Single release listening session, project file stems breakdown, and critique.
